First Flight, First Class

Lindsay took her first airplane ride last weekend - to visit the aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, who all gathered at my sister's home near Chicago. Lindsay was a dream passenger. Not so much as a peep on the first flight (where we scored a seat so we were able to bring on her carseat). And on the return home we were upgraded to First Class! She is ridin' in style. Here she is with Daddy, asleep on the plane.

Big Girl

Lindsay is now such a big girl that she can "play" in the Baby Einstein gym. The packaging says the contraption is recommended for babies 4 months + and who can sit up unassisted, but I have to admit that I was eager to put the thing together and see what would happen if I put her in it. She liked it! Don't worry, I won't leave her in it - I just think it's fun for both of us if she has a change of scenery...
