Big Girl

Lindsay is now such a big girl that she can "play" in the Baby Einstein gym. The packaging says the contraption is recommended for babies 4 months + and who can sit up unassisted, but I have to admit that I was eager to put the thing together and see what would happen if I put her in it. She liked it! Don't worry, I won't leave her in it - I just think it's fun for both of us if she has a change of scenery...

12-Week Update

Lindsay is now 12 weeks old! Time is flying. We took a page out of a friend's book (blog) and decided to photograph L at different ages in the same chair using the same prop - a phone. She is growing like a weed. A few weeks ago - at 10 weeks/2.5 months - she was 11 lbs. 12 oz. (75%) and 24 inches long (90%). I'm not sure how this happened, considering her parents! Here are two pictures of L - one at 7 weeks (top) and one at 12 weeks (bottom).

Out and About

Lindsay has gone on quite a few adventures, but her favorite outings are close to home. She loves venturing out into the neighborhood. Today she went to the post office, the salumeria, and then to Cirace's wine shop, where the owner Jeff would have gladly adopted her for his own. He loved her. Then she went on her first T ride to Back Bay station to meet up with "Aunt" Laura, who was in town briefly from NYC.
