This past weekend I took my first trip to Wichita, Kansas, to my brother and his family's new home. Kansas was probably exactly what I expected! Flat, with cornfields, and a lot of development everywhere. It was great to see my family -- my mom, step-dad, brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew. John and Sophie had grown so much since I last saw them at their old home in Dallas in May. We didn't do much, but it was good family time. We had a little Thanksgiving dinner, saw Bee Movie, played in their yard, and had lunch at Sophie and John's school on Monday. It makes me wish we were much closer to my family...

wow! i didn't realize they moved from TX, I'm sad, cause I had hoped to see you guys some time when you came to Dallas. Oh well, I'll just have to make it up to Boston some day!
