P celebrated his 35th birthday last week. He's really not a birthday guy, so despite my overwhelming desire to throw him a huge party for his big birthday, I resisted and just took him out for a really nice dinner with our cousins, J & E, last Saturday. We ate one of everything on the menu, I think. Then on Wednesday our CG brought a cheesecake for him and we sang happy birthday. I think it was perfectly low-key for him.
