Warm Head, Cold Day

Check out the hat I just made for my hubs! It's his first knit gift from me ever! It's a cold, cold weekend here in Beantown, and making this hat was the perfect stay-in activity for this afternoon, while watching Da Bears on t.v. (P slept, I knit). It's a nice, soft, warm Alpaca and should keep his top toasty on his walk to work.
I'm also working on my first non-infant size sweater. It's a little girls' sweater, size 36 months. I'm not sure who it's for yet... but possibly the next person to announce they're actually having a girl (eh hem, everyone is having boys!) will be the proud owner. It's an adorable soft pink cardigan with seed stitch edging. I'll take it to Michigan for my annual stitching weekend with my aunt and grandma next month to have them help me finish it...
Other than stitching, nothing too new except 1) it's too cold lately, and 2) I'm so excited about the aforementioned renovation. The cabinets are ordered and I've picked out all my appliances (but haven't bought them yet). Looks like the installation will be mid-March.

A very handsome hat! Very manly, I'm sure P is proud to wear it. Great job.
